I was a PUCLA scholarship recipient for seven years, and I owe a lot of gratitude to the support I have received in achieving my educational and career goals.

The scholarships I received help pay for my education both at UCLA, where I received a degree in Psychobiology, Bachelor of Science in 2016, and at UCSF, from which I graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2020. During my first year out of school, I completed a dental General Practice Residency at the Veteran Affairs Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center in North Hills, CA, where I had the opportunity to serve our country’s veterans as well as broaden my dental skills and scope of practice.

After completing the residency in summer of 2021, I applied for my dental license to practice in California. Since August, I have been working in the greater Los Angeles area as a general dentist. Although I may be done with school for now, the learning doesn’t stop as I continue to challenge myself within dentistry and expand my knowledge through educational courses. I look forward to practicing and gaining more experience in my career and once again, thank you PUCLA.
